Industrial Factory Stool By Rowac Circa 1920s – Branded on all 3 legs – Original Elm seat – By Robert Wagner, Chemnitz – German ~ 1920s – 51cm tall x 35cm wide Rowac Robert Wagner’s founded his company in 1888 in Chemnitz, better known as Rowac. His products stood for functional excellence, and were designed to provide the highest quality of healthy seating. Robert Wagner’s designs were so much respected by the founder of the Bauhaus movement Walter Grophius, that he had all Bauhaus workshops equipped with Rowac furniture. Condition Report All original, seat has been given a coat of hard wax oil.
