Magnificent and ultra rare Art Deco Amsterdamse School desk. Design by Daniel van Dorp for Gebroeders Reens Amsterdam. Striking Dutch design from the 1920s. Solid macassar ebony with original macassar ebony veneer base. The doors, drawers and pull out shelves have all the original hand-carved and stylish handles. The writing section is re-upholstered with warm and strong cognac faux leather. This wonderful and ultra rare Art Deco Amsterdamse School desk by Daniel van Dorp for Gebroeders Reens Amsterdam is in very good original refinished condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
