Vintage Design
These Safari chairs were designed by Børge Jensen & Sønner for Bernstorffsminde Møbelfabrik in the 1960s. They feature a cross bar at the top along with a weighted head/neck cushion trimmed in aniline leather. They are made of bent beechwood and heavy oatmeal canvas. The original leather straps beneath the seat can be disassembled by virtue of the countersunk bolts. The woodwork has been completely renovated and the upholstery has been removed and cleaned.
