Huge Danish ceramic floor vase made by Herman A. Kähler 1940-50s.
The floor vase has a cream yellow basecoat with incised decoration where the color of the brown clay show. The technique is called Sgraffito.
This technique was used during the Second World War and in the period just after due to a lack of materials and colors.

The decoration is attributed to Astrid Tjalk and most likely her work
