Napoleon 3 Diamonds Fine Pearls 18 Karat Yellow Gold Silver Brooch

Brooch in 18 karat yellow gold, and silver.

Sublime antique brooch from Napoleon III period, its mounting is formed of claws which retain fine baroque pearls, those located at the 4 cardinal points being of more important size.

In the center and raised, a silver pattern is adorned with an important fine baroque pearl in the center of a surround of rose-cut diamonds.

The attachment system is a pin with a safety hook.

Diameter of the main pearl : about 7.5/8 mm, diameter of the 4 larger pearls : about 4/4.5 mm, diameter of other pearls : about 3/3.5 mm.

Fine pearls of sea water, not treated, certified by the French Laboratory of Gemmology.

Height : 3,2 cm approximately, width : 2,8 cm approximately, thickness : 16 mm approximately.

Total weight of the jewel : 11,2 g approximately.

Authentic antique jewelry – Work of the second half of the XIXth century.

Our opinion : Very probably coming from an antique Napoleon 3 set, this brooch is in a perfect state of conservation and its reduced size allows to wear it in any circumstance.
