Set of 4 early Alvar Aalto wall shelves model “112B” in patinated birch. Beautiful warm and deep patina to the wood. The Alvar Aalto wall shelf 112B is an elegant and practical shelf that can be used for books, decorative lamps or small items. Aalto designed the wall shelf 112 in 1936. The shelf displays Aalto’s affinity with natural materials and complements modern homes and public spaces, too. The wall shelf 112B is made of birch veneer panel with bent lamella loops as brackets, and it can be mounted on the wall either way around. NOTICE: these 4 shelves was originally bought as a set and have always hung together.
